Ameera's Therapy To Go

With the current climate of the current events, we wanted to put out some resources to talk to your child about race, and racism and how you can educate yourself, and your children on racial equality.

Here are some resources that might help with the conversation:

These resources include how to talk to your children about the protests, or race and diversity in general. Children are curious, so it is important to have a productive conversation with them, rather than brush off their questions, or let them answer them themselves. There are several children's books that touch on subjects such as diversity, and race that might be helpful to read with your child.

As always, if you or your child is feeling more anxious or stressed due to these current events, you can always schedule a session with one of our therapists. We at Treehouse are here to support you. We stand as an ally to Black members of our community, now and always.
