Tween Mindfulness Yoga for Girls

Get balanced, grounded, and uplifted! This class for girls consists of yoga poses, breath awareness, relaxation, and mindfulness strategies to take it all off of the mat and into the world. The yoga practice will emphasize good alignment to combat tech neck and sedentary school days.

 

Each week we will explore fun and challenging poses before slowing down with restorative postures; this balanced approach gives tweens the opportunity to strengthen and stretch, release stress, and tap into relaxation.

 

Mindfulness practices will help students stay calm, confident, and centered at school and in daily life. Weekly check-ins and student input will inform the direction of every class. (ages 10-13)
