Chris Decker, PsyD

Dr. Chris Decker is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Psychologist and serves as our Clinical Director. She is one of our clinical supervisors. With over 25 years of dedicated work, she has developed a deep understanding of working with children, teenagers, and their families. Dr. Decker's expertise lies in individual, group, and family therapy, where she employs various therapeutic approaches and specializes in Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy.
In addition to her clinical work with children and teens, Dr. Decker also provides valuable support and guidance to parents, drawing from her personal experience as a mother of four children with diverse special needs. She is well-versed in assisting families with psychological and neuropsychological concerns, including Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders commonly observed in children and teenagers.
During therapy sessions, Dr. Decker focuses on identifying and nurturing the unique strengths and interests of each client. Through personalized interventions, individuals learn essential skills and coping mechanisms to navigate life's challenges, particularly within the context of families and children with diverse needs.
