Jessica Santello, BS

Jessica Santello is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University. Currently, she is completing her internship at the Tree House as part of her journey towards becoming a Licensed Social Worker. With over 8 years of experience working with children, Jessica specializes in supporting those with ASD, ADHD, OCD, anxiety disorders, and advocating for 504/IEPs. She also has a keen interest in assisting children and teenagers with chronic medical conditions.

Throughout her career, Jessica has led therapeutic groups and provided advocacy for individuals with invisible disabilities. She has had the privilege of collaborating with the Special Education (SPED) department at a local high school, gaining valuable experience in a school setting. As a therapist, Jessica is known for her kind, calm, and empathetic approach. She firmly believes that every child and teenager deserves a confident voice and a safe space to express themselves.

Jessica's therapeutic techniques include play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, which enable her clients to develop coping skills, explore their inner selves, and express their emotions in various creative ways. She incorporates elements of play, art, and animal-assisted therapy into her sessions, utilizing her bunnies to create a nurturing environment. Additionally, Jessica actively collaborates with her clients' families and external providers, such as physicians, school social workers, and teachers, to ensure comprehensive support tailored to each individual's needs.
